Here is the latest up date on my Winsock problem. I have logger32running on 3 different computers, 2 desk tops and one lap top. I tookJim’s advise and downloaded and installed 3.50 from the web

You do not have to start over to reinstall.
You can install the full Logger32 on top of your existing Logger32 folder. This will replace the system files and leave your configuration and

I can click OK all day and it never goes away. Doesn’t matter if I am trying to connect to Telnet or local host. I have never had any update problems or club log update problems – both

I tried turning off Windows Fire Wall and experienced the sameproblem. I even put the entire logger32 into Windows Defender exceptionswith the same results.

Larry, I just installed Logger32 a week or so ago, and after the first day or two, I have been getting the exact same winsock error message each time I log on and try to connect to Telnet (VE7CC).

Try turning off your firewall and see if it lets the connection thru that along with your Anti-virus software. A lot of the packages these days has controls to watch over your firewall/Internet

Jim, I forgot to mention…When you edit the contest file, pay attention to the field character count if the calls are different length. The easiest way is to find/replace the entire OPERATOR

Jim, The simplest way to do this is:
1) Edit the contest log to correct operator. You can make a global edit
2) Export your entire Log to an ADIF file
3) Go to “File | Change

Does your Logger32 perform a backup of the Logbook when the program shuts down?
If so there will be a Zip file backup of your log made prior to the
