Logger32 just auto updated to version 3.50.336 and it would appear the "eMail alerts" may now be working properly. I see the set up screen for email-sending has changed

Pete, on your Outlook account have you tried using IMAP protocol instead of POP3.
It works fine for me here, but I had to turn off my mailwasher, since that required a manual accept.
