On the UDP BandMap click CONFIG | SHOW/BLOCK CALLSIGNS QSO B4. Check these options:

Does that help? SeventyThree(s).

Hello Bob

What have you got working so far? Are you using JTDX?
Yes, using JTDX, JTDX is working with cherry-picking my issue is to only call the new dxccs on that band, it is currently calling everyone

Do you have the UDP BandMap up and running (it is recommended)?
Yes
Do you see decoded callsigns in the bandmap?
Yep

Does it show only stations you have not worked this band/mode before?
It does but it also calls the not new ones.
Is the JTDX control panel running?
Yes no issues there
Is it connected to JTDX? If you turn cherry picking on and open the cherry picking event viewer on, what do you see?

Tell us what you do have working then we can go from there. SeventyThree(s).

I did read the entire chapter about Cherry-Picking but I am unable to see what is wrong.

I don't know about multiple desktops, but for a single desktop the problem of JTDX stealing the focus from Logger32 is fixed in the latest release of JTDX. SeventyThree(s).

eQSL Synchronise from ADIF

Dave Sergeant G3YMC <dave@...>

I thought (though cannot find it in the manual) that when you
synchronised eQSL (and LOTW) using a downloaded ADIF file that there
was some tolerance on the times to allow for mismatches. 10 minutes I
recall. This is not happening.

Just downloaded my inbox (I have my own routine to do this) and found a
couple didn't match (from bad.adi):
<CALL:5>G4BUE<BAND:4>160M<MODE:2>CW<QSO_DATE:8>19760214<TIME_ON:4>2128
time in my log 2126
<CALL:5>G4BUE<BAND:3>80M<MODE:2>CW<QSO_DATE:8>20070114<TIME_ON:4>1633
time in my log 1632

Is the time tolerance not working?

I think Windows multiple desktop does not always work as user expect.
The best/simplest way is to use multiple PCs.

Do not go to Control panel.

Do you know Explorer ?  It is Windows utility.

It is used to explore any file in your PC.

I explained step-by-step in previous post.

Thanks Aki,

But how do I do that?  I’ve tried, but I must be doing something wrong.  I went to the control panel, there is a line there that says uninstall, change or repair.  When I click on that the box comes up  but the only choice was to delete the program.

I’m still baffled.

I have installed logger 32 and right off the bat I’m baffled. Admittedly I’m not hard to baffle.  That neat little pane on Page 34 of the manual that is supposed to ask me for my call sign (VE5WI) is nowhere to be seen.  Really, all I have is a blank window with a row of icons along the top and another row of  stuff along the bottom. I’ve played around a bit but haven’t found anything I can get started with. I even tried installing it twice.  What do I need to do next other than delete the program?

Hi Mike
I use Virtual Serial Ports Emulator (64 bit) 1.1.5.45, Kernel driver version: 2.039. Works great for port sharing but freeze after a while (not sure the cause was VSPE or one of the ham radio software)

Re: Virtual Steppir Controller

Libor OK1ALX

Hello,

the previous post was a kind of tip for the additional function of VSC, but now I came across a problem that I haven't been able to solve yet.

Now, when I change the band on the radio, or in the Bandmap I click on a station in a band other than the current band, Steppir retunes.
But if I tune to a frequency in the same band on the radio, or click on a spot in the same band, nothing happens. Even if the frequency difference is higher than 200kHz.
If I quit the VSC and immediately restart it, as soon as it starts, Steppir will immediately retune to a frequency close to the current frequency tuned to the radio.

I have the Steppir antenna installed for a very short time and the practical use is new to me, but during the previous testing without the antenna connected and then for a short normal use, it has not happened to me yet. I use a Fluidmotion controller.
Unfortunately, I don't remember if I changed any settings that could affect it, but I have no idea where the problem might be.

Thank you for any advice and ideas.

73, Libor OK1ALX
