Resident doesn't mean always active on air.

Anyway you are free to send an Email to that monk and ask why he is on air only in that specific dates. Provide us the answer so we can provide info to Club Log to do a fine tuning on that exception. 73s

When operating with JTDX, look at the radio pane of the Logger32 lower status bar. You will see that the Logger32 radio port is closed. SeventyThree(s).

DX Spot No QSY Radio.
G4GIR
Hello All
I have a setup using JTDX, L32 and TS990. If I click on a Band in the JTDX Control panel, the Radio QSY's, JTDX QSY's and L32 logging window QSY's. If I click on a Frequency in JTDX the Radio QSY's, JTDX QSY's and L32 logging window QSY's. However If I click on a DX spot L32 Logging window populates with the Call and QRG, the radio doesn't QSY and JTDX doesn't QSY. Is this correct? Tried to find an answer in the manual but no luck. Clicking on DX Spots when just using the Radio and L32 works OK. Radio QSY's and L32 Logging widow is populated with call and QRG. Any ideas please. 73 Ian G4GIR

Glorioso was my last one also. Got FT5GA in 2009. Not easy with only one contact made and confirmed after many days and hours of operation. Problem with it and other FT/s surrounding Madagascar is that the French control all of that area, declaring most of it as military and not accessible for anybody but the French. Bouvet may happen in the next couple of years. I have been #1 HR since 2009 and that was done in 18 years. Couldn't do that now. Good thing as I am now 83YO. - John Owens - N7TK

Club Log respect what is the plan. If this station will be active up to 14 October, the exception is valid up to 14 October. 73 Fabio, IZ8MBW

I don't make the rules, I just try to follow them. Club Log says SV2RSG is not a valid call since April 21, 2016.

And now it is in the Club Log cty.xml download:

It would appear that Mt Athos did not magically appear with this mornings Club Log download. Go here:
Type in <SV2RSG> (including the < and >) and click the ADD button at the left of where you typed. With luck, you will now see this:
Just remember when the insanity is over, go back and delete <SV2RSG/A> as an alternate prefix for Mt. Athos.

Re: Logger32
Bob
First, let's try to understand what you're trying to achieve ... If you have not installed Logger32 on your PC, you must do so. Go to Logger32.net and at the top right corner you will see a link to Logger32 full v4.0 download.Click that an the Logger32 full install package will be downloaded. It contains a single file Logger32 v4.0 Full Install.exe. Run this and it will install Logger32 on your PC. ... o
r, maybe you're trying to domething else. SeventyThree(s).

For what it is worth this version runs OK as a log backup on my Toshiba NB510 Netbook with windows 7 Starter. Nothing too demanding just log page, log entry, previous QSOs and worked/confirmed. Regards, Mike VP8NO

Sequencing and Color Questions
Bob, W3IDT
As these questions may be about the interface between Logger32 and JTDX, I'm taking the liberty of posting in both reflectors.
I have tried to look at the various manuals, guides, and reflectors, but either couldn't find answers or miss-read the material. 1. Sequencing Question ---------------------- With "manual logging" in place, the following happens: 1a. I click on a CQ station on the (JTDX) Band Activity panel, and that station gets called. 1b. After working him, I get the manual log panel (as desired). 1c. I click "LOG", 1d. THEN Tx6 - my CQ message - is automatically transmitted. I DO NOT want to CQ; I'm DXing. How do I prevent the Tx6 from being transmitted? 2. Color Question ----------------- Colors on the (JTDX) Band Activity Panel: 2a. Using [menu] FILE | SETTINGS | NOTIFICATIONS I've set up a desired color scheme: - Blues for new CQZ and ITUZ (dark for Ever new, light for band/mode new), - Greens for new Countries (Green - as in GO), Also dark for Ever new, light for band/mode new. - and Strike-out for worked already. 2b. Blues and strike-out seem to work fine, but 2c. I get Greens for countries - already Ever worked , - worked on this band/mode, and - even sometimes for calls worked before on this band/mode. How do the color settings interact with the log? How do I get only Green for new (ever or band/mode)? Thank you. Bob, w3idt ps.Having lots of fun with Logger32 and JTDX. Now on to learn about "Cherry Picking" -- ....... . Robert F. Teitel, W3IDT . . w3idt@... . w3idt@... ........
