Run Time Error '2147221164 (80040154)':

Michael Buckle

I persistently get Run Time Error '2147221164 (80040154)': when trying to upload to LOTW. Is there an easy way to clear this error, normally a number of shut downs and restarts are required?

Ideas please, Thank you in advance

Connection to QRZ.com

SM0YHN@...

Hello,
I am trying to connect my logger32 to QRZ.com. I have registered the Callsign for the QSO in the Operator window and click on the icon "internet callsign  lookup" and in the new window I can see the callsign I am looking for in QRZ.com, but I get the message: "Can*t find the QRZ Lookup Module". How do I connect to QRZ Lookup Module?
Regards,

What is JTDX version?  You should use the latest public released version.

And, if your curious, you might want to analize a couple of the rejected QSOs to determine exactly what is wrong with them. If you don't know how, just copy and paste a couple of QSOs here, and we can take a peek.

Cheap screens – ref Gary’s ZL2IFB Comment

About 6 months ago I bought an IIyama 22” widescreen for £23 delivered, from an eBay IT reseller in Bradford. No stand included,  but I had a spare that fitted.  It’s superb on my second (recycled SSD PC) and doesn’t take up much desk space in my small shack. Maybe I was fortunate but there are bargains to be had if you take a chance Tom.

Loving using the JTDX control panel, nicely integrated into Logger 32 with several features which it includes over and above the main alternative. Appreciated Bob K4CY suggesting I try it, it was worth the half day or so spent setting up and learning what was happening in its use! Good work done on writing the manual in relation to JTDX – easy to follow. I think that was down to Gary and probably others.

… or possibly a laptop/chromebook/thing on the side to browse/search the PDF while working DX on the main shack PC.

Secondhand medium sized LCD displays are cheap these days as gamers and others upgrade to their whole-wall-sized curved 0.5 ms 170-degree UHD++ holographic displays.  That is, provided your PC has dual video outputs … and for our purposes, even a low-end graphics card can easily cope with Logger32 updating its band maps during CQ WW.

Oh and you need a wide and strong-enough operating desk for all this tech stuff, or a wall-mounted monitor arm.
