Jim, first let me respond your (in my face) signature line about your guardian angel ... My guardian angel is Mbaba Mwana Waresa (Google it).

You probably should hit your DELETE button immediately ...

I have a limited insight into the inner workings of Logger32, but WTF is 'Auto Transfer with HamQTH'?

I would like to know if in the near future would the FT-891 be able to operate with Logger32? I been using this program when it first came out. Now I'm taking a back seat because there is no FT-891 in the radio options. Thanks for any feed back.

Verify that in the table of bands and modes found in tools, the band you are using is configured as active rotor with the number 1.

Re: Logger32 Download

Be aware that Logger32 version 4 is about to be released. I’m not saying you shouldn’t download the current V3 though.
You can upgrade from a Version 3 install.
Bob is looking for some “power users” to try the initial roll-out, ideally with somebody willing to make a (tutorial) you-tube video of the upgrade experience.
The major benefits of Version 4 are

  1. A new database engine that a lot more QSOs before it is full (I think a million)
  2. Modern COM port driver that overcomes the 16 port limit

There are many smaller improvements, enhancements and eye candy. Tighter integration with JTDX.
This has been in development and Beta testing for most of 2020.

Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year.

Hi,

I set up Logger32 to drive my rotor.
It is a Yaesu G-450C and I use an ERC interface connected to the COM1 port of my PC.
As you can see on my screenshot, the red line is the direction I want my antenna to point to.
On the other hand, I don't have an indicator to show me where the antenna is, contrary to what I can find in the Help of L32.

Another point.
As you can see below, the 'Open rotator...' box is checked, but when I launch L32, the COM1 port of the rotor does not open automatically. I have to open it, by a right-click 'Open Port'.

Could someone please explain this to me?

Re: LOTW callsigns in LOTW

Bob

Correction, SP7M is in the Club Log LoTW users database. Look in the clublog_users.json file in the \Logger32 directory. It shows last LoTW activity on 2020-07-13. Click the CONFIG menu to see if July 13 is within your range of your settings. SeventyThree(s).

Hello Bob,

Granted, as it is on the DXCC challange or DXCC awards, based on the ARRL Granted syncs (LOTW and QSLs). It is just an idea, I know it might be tricky to do it.
