In an earlier message I said I needed the assistance of a Python programmer to modify JTDX to to allow Logger32 to directly interact with the JTDX controls. This afternoon, I looked inside JTDX, and it is C++, not Python. So if you are a C++ whiz and want to get your name in lights, now it your chance. SeventyThree(s).

Having read all about the lake of coping the name into the name field, I didn’t have a problem with it. But now I have done an update the new version doesn’t copy the name into the name field. Any help would be greatly received. I run w10 on a i7 machine 73 Fred G3YJQ

Re: QRZ Lookup
All I noticed was the date on the program L32Lookups was not 15/7/2020 which it is now (15/3/? Possible) and L32LookupsUpdater was and still is 17/5/2020 (I think it was) Cant remember seeing any error messages. All working now although not sure about AutoUpdate. Damian

Are you getting the update file?? It should run the installer which will update the file that is on your computer. If doesn’t work remove the program thru the programs/features page in the control panel then download the installer from my website and run it that way. It should install back in the directory where you had it..

Tom, thanks for elaborating what TCM stands for. Unfortunately (even after Googlingit) I have no idea what it is, what it does, or why anyone needs it. So, the short answer is - No. SeventyThree(s).

In the next 24 hours whenever the Lookup checks the server you should get a notice of an update for L32Lookups. Or you can click Setup/Check for updates and it should tell you there is an update. This should fix the QRZ lookup until they change something else…

The ones that are having this problem could you turn Debug on and do a couple of lookups and then turn debug off. In the directory where L32Lookups is installed you will find a file called L32LookupsDebugLog.txt attach that to an email and send it to me. Looking at the changes at to the xml interface that should not be changing the name format.

Any ideas ??
