CW Machine and IC 7000

Richard M. Gillingham

I've recently unearthed my IC-7000 and want to use it with Logger32 on CW.   Naturally, I'm having difficulty getting CW Machine to key the 7000.  Logger 32 talks to the 7000 through the CI/V just fine, but several hours with the menus in Logger and the maze of menus in the '7000 have gotten me nowhere.

Any advise will be appreciated.

Its been a while since I had 2 Icom 7610's but a friend just bought one and we are trying to set it up for rig control and digital from within Logger 32. If I remember right we should be able to use the lower numbered port for the rig control and then the higher number port would be the port used to run FSK via MMTTY. ?  There is no way I can get the 2nd higher number port to work . If someone has all this working I would very much like some info on rig and Logger32 settings . Maybe some screen shots.

Thanks in advance for any info

Maybe one more suggestion ... The error message is reported when Logger32 sends a message to the QRZ Lookup Window to close (like after a QSO is logged, of when the Logbook Entry Window is cleared) and the message fails. If you have Logger32 set to 'Run as Administrator', make sure the L32Lookups software from N2AMG is also set to 'Run as Administrator'. 73.
