Re: Clear Callsign on QSY
Paul - W1PR
I am trying to widen the Clear Callsign on QSY Allowable parameter. I have added Allowable QSY Frequency=3.0 to the [Globals] section of the ini file but it has no effect. If the setup box is checked for call clears on QSY of 1.0, the call clears at 1.0. The menu item does not change from 1.0. If I uncheck the box, there is no clearing at all. It doesn't seem to matter whether the call is entered manually or on clicking the cluster window. I restarted Logger after each change of the ini file. What am I doing wrong?

DR Giannis Try to open the cw menu: Config – Appearance – Text/Font Colour and change the name and size of the font. MS Sans Serif – Regular – 10 works fine. 73 Villi

Hmmmm Better luck now. Now I get transmit going on JTDX as should.
Looks like one needs a PhD to make these SW combinations work right..... but wait.... I have a PhD in physics! Thank you all for the detailed help! These fantastic SW just have so many options and setting that it is really hard to get them to be just right. Very humble big thank you! Markku

Got it. Actually there is no “Telnet spot font color”.

Since I was connected to VE7CC it was under Local Host Spot Forecolor. I was looking for a Font option. I missed it….. TU 73 Tony

Markku JTDX accept UDP reply message of CQ/RR73/73. When you want to call XX1XX then click XX1XX in UDP BandMap. XX1XX is surrounded by small box. When he sends CQ/RR73/73 next time JTDX will call him. WSJTX accept only UDP reply message of CQ for FT8. It accept UDP reply message of CQ/RR73/73 for FT4. 73

I will check out my settings, once again. I think I had the as above but no luck yet with JTDX.
HOWEVER I managed to make WSJTX actually call somebody. NOW: Is it only that this automation calls a station when they have sent a CQ? Why is that? SOOOO often a DX never sends a CQ after they get their first QSO. I would kind of think that simply calling anytime when using split / hold tx F would be OK? BR Markku OH2RA

Jim Altman
It’s an smtp server error, something went wrong talking to the smtp server, perhaps your server changed its requirements.

Try following steps 1. Right click on DX spot window. 2. Click Setup 3. Click Appearance 4. If you want to set font color for Telnet spot then click Telnet spot font color. Select any color you prefer. 73

Re: DX Spot Fonts
Bob
The DX Spot Window font is set as you described. VIEW | GRID APPEARANCE, etc ... Forecolor is a little different because users can set the forecolor based on the DX Spot source. Try a right click on the DX Spot Window. Click SETUP | APPEARANCE an anyone of the top five menu options. SeventyThree(s).
