CW machine: use dedicated port and select correct COM port.
Radio: PC keying DTR (or RTS try)
Works for me.

Hi Vince

Have you ever heard about ELECRAFT K3S. YES, they can! :-)

I am using my K3S with one USB cable controlled by N1MM no problems.
CW machine I have not used so far.

I am afraid there are more menu items to set before that "Yaesu beast"
        will work.

Thanks for sharing your setting with us.
I think I tried this and it did not work but I will try it again.
I think I will stick with using WinKeyer as it has many features.

Did you try this ?

Hi Willi
Yes, there are two USB ports. One is enhanced for CAT and second USB is for other thinks, I have tried many combinations using one or the other and still no CW trough USB cable.
I been trying to avoid hurting somebody saying that other well known contest software provide capability of configuring CW trough USB cable and it works.
I was told by someone that "driver for Logger32 CW machine need to be updated".

I do not know of a radio which supports CW keying directly via USB port.

The FT-3000 and FTdx101D/MP support FSK keying on the USB port which works well, but not CW.
