I did that last night on the laptop (Version 373) but found my DXCC granted score was 0 in both DXCC & challenge award screens. All contacts were shown as confirmed, just not granted.

So. I deleted all logs from the laptop (they are in a sub directory Logger32/N5KD), did a ADIF export from the shack computer, then import on the laptop. Same thing, confirmed, not granted.

I checked the ADIF file. It shows granted like this

Then I copied my complete Logger32 directory, (including sub directories) from the shack computer to the laptop.

Recalc, and again nothing granted.

So…. I rolled back to version 372, did a recalc and now everything shows as granted in both challenge and DXCC…..

This morning I see Version 374 is released, so I upgraded on the laptop.

Did a recalc, and now back to nothing granted.

The shack computer is running 373, but I’ve not had the courage to do a recalc on it. Currently that does show granted in the award screens.

Have I done something wrong?

Happy new year.

Already did that bob. That was the first thing I checked. It turned out for some reason the tcp box was checked in JTDX. I didnt do it. Seems something was looking for the tcp socket .

I too use the Zip file method to copy my log to my other PC.
Just checked and I'm seeing the same problem on my second PC, even after a recalc' (both PC's running are running .374)

Yet an ADI export from the log on the second PC does seem to contain the Credit Granted information;

I have 2 copies of Logger32. The shack computer, and a backup on  a laptop.

For years I have used “zip databases & logbook” to copy my log to the laptop. A simple unzip, overwrite & recalc is all it’s taken.

I did that last night on the laptop (Version 373) but found my DXCC granted score was 0 in both DXCC & challenge award screens. All contacts were shown as confirmed, just not granted.

However, the Help file references showing up on the web interface in groups.io are all blank in my browser, and I was not able to find anything that appeared to specifically describe this behavior in the L32 Help file.

Could someone please help me find the correct section in the Help file. I've looked through the CW Machine and Macros sections, but gave up after not finding the explanation there rather than try the other 63 items the L32 Help search came up with for $NAME$.

P.S. (Minor issue with links in Help file) When trying to Navigate the CW Machine Window in the Help file, after getting to the $NAME$ section, I clicked on the green link for "Note 5", but it just brings me to the beginning of the CW Machine Section of the Help file and not to the Note 5 portion.

Any ideas?

Just noticed that when Name field in Entry Window is empty nacro $NAME$ send whole word $ N A M E $ on CW. When there is name, macro work as intended.
Is this me or is it a bug?

Re: ADIF import problem - several QSOs in the same time (hour/minute)

Bob

Looks like a bug.  It works exactly as coded - poorly.  Please send (by direct eMail) a copy of your ADIF file so that I can test the fix. SeventyThree(s).

Hi all,
i have problem importing an ADIF file from our yesterday's Christmas VHF contest into Logger32 v 3.50.374.. Everytime when there are two QSOs made within a single minute, then the 2nd qso fails to import saying "Too many duplicate Date/Time QSOs - Max tries to fix this is 40:  " in the bad.adi file. Interesting point is, that on the first occasion of such "2 qso within minute" both QSOs were imported fine.

Here is an example from the import file:
<Call:6>OK1IEI<QSO_Date:8>20181226<Time_On:4>0805<Band:2>2m<Mode:3>SSB
<RST_SENT:2>59<STX:1>6<RST_RCVD:2>59<SRX:1>3
<GRIDSQUARE:6>JO70EC<QRB:2>41<CONTEST_ID:22>Christmas Contest 2018
<eor>
<Call:6>OK1KKL<QSO_Date:8>20181226<Time_On:4>0805<Band:2>2m<Mode:3>SSB
<RST_SENT:2>59<STX:1>7<RST_RCVD:2>59<SRX:2>12
<GRIDSQUARE:6>JO70PO<QRB:3>126<CONTEST_ID:22> Christmas Contest 2018
<eor>

and the record in BAD.ADI:
Too many duplicate Date/Time QSOs - Max tries to fix this is 40:  <Call:6>OK1KKL<QSO_Date:8>20181226<Time_On:4>0805<Band:2>2m<Mode:3>SSB<RST_SENT:2>59<STX:1>7<RST_RCVD:2>59<SRX:2>12<GRIDSQUARE:6>JO70PO<QRB:3>126<CONTEST_ID:22> Christmas Contest 2018<eor>

I have successfully re-imported the BAD.ADI after having manually modified the Time_On field to include also the seconds part, e.g.  <Time_On:6>080530, but I consider this as a temporary workaround only. It looks like something got broken in the ADIF import functionality recently. I have checked couple of other ADIF files imported in the past, almost all contain such double-QSOs and all were imported without any problem.

Anybody else having such issue?
