Yes it is a false positive. Its finding the update downloader in there and saying it’s a virus.. the download has been scanned 2 times before it was uploaded..

I just got the message saying The bandplan has no entries that match a frequency of 3,834 MHz The mode has not been changed. This information comes from a spot of W2FBS who spotted VE3RMJ Ofcourse is this entry not matching as the 80 m band goes as far of 3,800 MHz (in my region) 73 Jan PA4JJ Op 10-4-2018 om 02:40 schreef yoshida

Some of you have reported a crash when doing the update. There was a corrupted .zip file in the upload. You should be able to download and install it correctly now..

Charlie.. Are you running Logger32 using the Run as Administrator setting?? If you are then Right click on L32LogSync.exe and choose Properties then the compatibility tab. There is a checkbox that says Run as Administrator. Place a check in that box and click Apply. Then try closing Logger32 and when it reopens see if the 2 programs will connect then.

Re: New Update for L32LogSync
Rick:
Well v2.0.0.3 fixed the crash when I enable LOTW, but now I see a different problem. When I try to "Create an LOTW export file in Logger32 and upload to LOTW", it complains that "Logger32 needs to be running for this function to work..." I also get this if I try to do an eQSL upload. I did in fact launch the utility from Logger32 at startup, so yes, it's running. L32LogSync is pointing to the Logger32 directory, and Logger32 is pointing at the L32LogSync in the Utilities setup, so I'm not sure what is wrong. Charlie KX7L

Re: Annoying pop ups
Larry Fravel
Mine always has the message frequency 0.000. Very random on bands and
spots. Never had it up until about a month ago. Same with the grayed
spots saying that it is not a real prefix – W’s VE’s, VU’s others at the high
end of the alphabet.

To all This may happen only if DX spot with specific frequency comes in. ( I am not sure...)PS I do not know whether it works for you with previous version or not. Please check this with the latest version. 2018-04-08 23:55 GMT+09:00 GM4OSS <stevegm4oss@...>:

Re: Club Log Update - New Issue
Hi Felix.
I understand your bitterness and can ignore the sarcasm but you’re ranting at the wrong group here.
The technical issue is inherent in very old and no longer supported versions of Windows not being able to use HTTPS. It just so happens that you’ve bumped into a brick wall by no longer being able to get the Club Log prefix updates, but Logger32 itself is not the issue, nor is Club Log. That very old and no longer supported version of Windows is the problem.
It’s like someone complaining to a Prius owner’s club that they can’t get solid rubber tyres for their ancient Model T Ford any more. Too bad I’m afraid, that’s the price of progress. What do you expect if you choose not to keep up?
You seem to be implying that all technical advances should stop unless YOU say it’s OK to proceed. Sorry but that’s not the way the world works, Felix, otherwise we’d all be riding horses. And grunting at each other. Lots of grunting.

Felix.. Download the 32 bits drivers for your printer and scanner and install them with Windows 10. I do this every day for a living and usually have no troubles installing drivers that are 32bit instead of the 64 bit drivers..
What is Logger32 not doing that has stopped it??

Re: QRZ lookup
Rick Ellison
Hi Stu..
toggle quoted messageShow quoted text
There is a problem there I have not been able to duplicate it to catch it in a debug file yet. If you would do this.. When you are about to close L32 out for the day open the lookup and turn debugging on. Close out L32 and the lookup should close automatically. Now switch to the directory where you have installed the lookup and delete the debuglog.txt file. This will create a new Debug file the next time you start the lookup. After the first lookup fails Turn Debug off and send me the DebugLog.txt file as an attachment. After the first lookup fails you don't need to do anything with the session key or no changes need to be done just do another lookup and it will return the results with no issues.. 73 Rick n2AMG

AKI Attached Logger32.ini file as requested. I feel that with the other OPs having same problem as me the spurious pop-up errors is more of a programming issue since errors have only begun in the last couple of versions of Logger32. Regards
