Thanks, Rick.

Yes, tried that already, but right clicking on .exe fails to show an option to run as administrator.

Don't understand why that's the case because that normally works with other .exe files.

Prefixes not recognized

Larry Fravel

I am getting a lot of common prefixes not being recognized in the Cluster window and the Band maps window.  As a result in the main logging window there is no beam heading or other information being displayed.  Some examples of “unknown prefix” are:  TG, ZP, XT, VE, W2, W7, W4,ZF,YU and ZB.  Seems the problem is entirely random with the prefixes not recognized.

Is anyone else having this problem or can some one suggest a fix.  I have tried closing down the program and restarting but that did not help. This has been going on for a day or two now.

Hi Filipe..
Everyone is having trouble with LOTW today. It has been reported in a number of groups that I belong to of no on having access to LOTW. Or when they can connect it is very slow. This is why you received the Time out error message..

As for ClubLog I am guessing that your password has some type of symbol in it. This is causing Clublog to barf when it is trying to connect to it to send the required information. You are able to log in via their website but not when using the API services. I have an email into the Clublog owner and am waiting for him to answer..

L32 LogSync and ClubLog

Rick Ellison

If you keep getting an error from ClubLog that your information is wrong or
you get a 403 error. There is an issue with ClubLog that I have written
Michael about.
If your password has a symbol in it you have no trouble logging into the
ClubLog website. But when I send that password to ClubLog in the text string
I have to send it will reject any password that has a symbol in it. I have
tried this on my own account to make sure it was the problem. If the
password had some symbol in it then the upload would not complete with the
symbol removed then the upload completed as it was supposed to.
I will post something when I hear back from Michael..

Dave..

Turn Debug On (Info\Debug\Debug On) try doing an upload to ClubLog. After it fails turn Debug Off. In the installation directory you will find a file called DebugLog.txt and or Possibly ErrorLog.txt Send both of those to me  direct as attachments.

I have now posted the new application that is taking the place of the old
LOTW-eQSl utility.
It's new name is called L32 LogSync.

In order to continue using ClubLog after tomorrow you will need to remove
the LOTW-eQSL utility and install the new application. All of the controls
in this application are all .net compatible controls which will make it
compatible with Windows 7 and above. Windows XP is no longer able to use the
SSL connections in ClubLog and Other services as they are finished so it is
no longer supported.

There is still work being done on this application but with the need to
update for the changes at ClubLog I have all of the required features
completed. I will release updates as I complete sections.
I expect you to find some bugs or something that doesn't look right. When
you stumble across one of these what I would like you to do is turn Debug On
and repeat the same thing you had done previously to make the bug happen.
After doing so You can turn debug off and in the directory where the
application is installed you will find one or 2 files. They are DebugLog.txt
and Errorlog.txt. Please send them to me in a direct email so I can find
where the problem is happening in. Also please describe the bug as you see
it and possibly how to duplicate it.

You can download the full installer at : http://www.n2amg.com Click on the
L32 LogSync link on the left.

Also Logger32 only allows a program 5 times to try and connect to it. Once you have reached that 5 times you must restart Logger32..

Logbook page questions

George M

Hi all,

I am new to this group and to Logger32.
Have used it for a couple of weeks now and I like it very much.
Not quite familiar with all the features of the app, just using for now some basic functionality.

Am running a Windows7 OS on a 64 bit machine and Logger 32 version is 3.30.351.

I have some questions for the group. maybe somebody can help me with and answer:
A.   When I am looking at the "Loogbook page", I can move up and down through it using the wheel
      on my mouse.
I can do the same clicking on the UP/DOWN buttons on the vertical slide bar. All good.
I can also use PAGE UP/DOWN and move through the records page by page, all good also!

But... UP and DOWN arrows on the keyboard are not operational at all. I would have expected
those to also work and move up or down record by record, as the wheel does.

Is here something that I am doing wrong, or the installation of the app is not correct ??

B. Also Logbook page related...
The default page is the one showing the latest QSO-s with an empty raw at the bottom, as it
    should.
If I click on a row, is highlighted in yellow.
At this moment the UP/DOWN arrows will start working to move the highlighted line up or down,
but the wheel is not working any more.
Using the UP arrow I can navigate up in the log.
But... if I use the DOWN arrow, as soon as the highlighted raw gets at the bottom of the page
before the empty line, with one more DOWN arrow press will jump directly to the last Q in the
log, instead to the next old entry in the log as I would expect and as it does when using the UP
    arrow.

C. If I use the vertical side slider to move up or down, will reset the highlighted line. Same if I use
    PAGE UP/DOWN.

Just wanted to get any opinion if this is the way it operates, or I should reinstall the app???

Any advise will be appreciated, thanks for your help.

    Best 73,
                   George  N2GM

Hello Rick,

If you have downloaded the file before reading this file please download the
zip file again and extract both files. One file was missing from the zip
file and it has now been replaced...

You can download the full installer at : http://www.n2amg.com
Click on the L32 LogSync link on the left.
