Thanks Rick This is the process I referred to. It does not seem to work for QSO's captured by UDP. Do you use UDP and does it work for you? Mike VK1OO

Re: Transfer Logger 32 to new computer

Todd,
What I've done before now is simply to install the full version
from the Logger32 web page. Then copy the entire Logger32 directory from the old computer
onto a USB flash drive, then copy that over your new installation.
(Assuming both are in the same place ( eg, C:\Logger32 ). - It's
always good to have that backup anyway. If the new computer has a different screen size you may need to adjust your windows. Then recalculate.

I need to back up more than my ADIF files ...or I will have to re-configure the whole logbook as I have macros set up for CW and PSK 31. I'm trying to avoid a completey new set up.
Any other suggestions ?? Thanks ... Todd

Hi
Easy
Download complete version and install it on the new pc
Copy folder logger32 of the old computer in the new, exactly where was the
folder in the old computer. Normally in c:\ (default folder of insttaled
logger32)
it should work. Maybe have to setup also external
programs if you have.

Me? I'd dump it and install a brand new clean edition onto your new PC, then transfer your log over using the ADIF import / export function. Then do a re-calc on your log on the new PC. It should be pretty straight forward.

Re: Transfer Logger 32 to new computer
Gerry VE6LB
My recollection is that I simply copied my Logger32 program file to the new
machine (not into program files) and before trying to run L32 on the new
machine, I did a full install of L32 over the copied file.

Disregard, yesterday I could not get it to work, this morning it is fine. Must be the gremlin in my machine that fixed it over night

Re: Bad File
Hi Clifford.
Have you tried opening the BAD file with a text editor (such as Notepad) to see what it says? Each bad record should have a comment explaining why it was rejected.

Re: Autoflag UDP captured QSOs

Hi I know I can, and I have, set up logger32 to automatically flag QSOs for QSLing, using the Setup menu from the Logbook Entry window. When I do this, the QSL status appears in the appropriate Logbook Page Window column as I log each QSOs. But, I have not been able to work out how to automatically flag QSOs for QSLing when I use the fabulous UDP functionality to capture WSJT-x QSOs in logger32. I would appreciate any advice on how to do this. Mike VK1OO
