Hi,

I've upgraded to version 3.17.3 and have following error when i do a QRZ
lookup

Error # 53 File not found
Third party module 'QRZSubscriberXMLLookup.exe' not found

If I click OK, the window dissappears and I see the lookup window. However

If you moved the contents of the folder to a new folder its more than known
its not working . I think it needs an install in vista...
I did the same mistake only to discover that vista is something else.
So, you must be carefully.

V3.17.3 and Radio Port Anomaly

Gerald Boutin <gboutin@...>

I have installed version v3.17.3 and tested the operation of opening
and closing the radio port. I am using an Icom 756-Pro-III interfaced
through MicroHam Router software and a MicroHam microKeyer.

All seems well except for one thing. If I close the port before
shutting down, the port is not open when the program starts up, which
is as expected. However, if I open the port through the radio setup
menu, communications do not start. According to the Router software
log, the port is "opened" but no communications take place. The
situation is resolved by closing and restarting Logger32. In previous
versions of Logger32, opening the radio port did not require a
program restart.

Is this new behaviour intended?

Description of bug fix from message 37457

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/hamlogger/message/37457

This includes the following bug fixes:

3. Previous versions would automatically open the primary radio port
on program startup even if the radio port was closed when the
application was closed. On startup of Logger32, the primary radio
port state will be opened only if it was open when the program was
last used.

NEW - Version 3.17.3 of Logger 32 is now available!

All,

We have another new version 3.17.3 of Logger32 available on the website at
http://www.logger32 .net

This includes the following bug fixes:

1. Fix for Yaesu FT1000D users

2. Opening the Internet lookup window from the toolbar. Previous versions
required a callsign to be entered in the Logbook Entry Window. You can now
open the Internet Lookup Window regardless of what is entered as a callsign.

3. Previous versions would automatically open the primary radio port on
program startup even if the radio port was closed when the application was
closed. On startup of Logger32, the primary radio port state will be opened
only if it was open when the program was last used.

There are no documentation or supporting file changes required. Only those
who are experiencing these bugs need upgrade.

Re: radio port opening automatically

Bruce <abcincowbay@...>

Morning:

Thanks for the reply.
I do "close" the port before closing the program. However, when I open
the program, it automaticlayy reopens the radio port, and the "cat"
light on the FT1000mp showing it is on begins to flash.
Seems to be a slight change from what it formerly did. My question is
probably more of a curious nature than an indication of a problem.

Re: radio port opening automatically

Jim Hargrave

Bruce,

Logger32 remembers the port state when it is closed. It has always been that
way. It will open the radio port if it was open when you last closed it.

In the new version, If the radio is OFF, that is indicated by ".000" shown
in the frequency slot of the Log Entry window. There is no need for any
error message. The zero frequency should suffice to tell the operator the
radio is off. Most operators already know whether the radio is on or off.

completely old datas with new data from autolookup data

Imam YB4IR <yb4ir@...>

Mostly my qso datas in my logger is not complete, It doesn't have other informations like name operator, grid, state, county etc because when I make qso sometime do not have time to ask others info and sometime also because QRM and QRN

When our logger is connected internet and I type the callsign in loogbook entry window. Can we replace or added all informations from autolookup data in to our logger automaticly?  it is not only new qso but also all qso before. Changed only name, QTH,  grid, state, county, qsl manager.

Thank you

Geoff

Running with WinXP SP3.

On starting logger32 with rig off the Frq is shown as 000 and the mode blank which never seemed to happen on previous versions. It always held the last data from earlier closedown. It picks the data up again when the rig is switched on. Is this facet of the new version?
