Telnet script problem

KE1F Lou

I am using Logger32 V. 3.2.0

I want to automate my logging into telnet using Telnet scipt. I cannot save the entered telnet script therefore it is not running when I load Logger32.

How can I save it? CTRL-S is not working.

Lou KE1F

ps: Yes, I am using XP OS.

Iota W/C Window

n9bx@...

Good Day:

I had worked or so I thought I did a particuliar IOTA in this case EU-008. The qso Showed up I had the iota logged, and When I did an IOTA Award Check it also showed up as W for Worked. But now I had to delete this QSO that gave me EU-008 as I entered it wrong. So I deleted it but still the IOTA Award popup still shows it as a "W", but when I right click on the EU-008 Block to show all QSO's with EU-008, no QSO show up, which is to be expected as I have deleted them, but the IOTA Award Window does not update even though ISHUT IT DOWN AND and reopened the Window, it still shows as Worked. How do I get rid of it?

Thank you

Mike,

All the options are in the Toolbar bar. Simply don't turn on the options you don't want an you have Logger32-lite.

G'day,

I like the flexibility of the base logging program and would
personally like to see a copy of "Logger32 Lite", just the logging
elements, no cluster, no CW machine, no tracking etc, just the
logging.

Installable options would do it.

Have you defragged your computer lately??
XP might tell you that it doesn't need defragged,
but defrag anyway. Just defragging has fixed
other programs running slow.

You won't get any conflict if you are using Xp. You can have several
programs all using the same sound card. I do here..

Thank you.
I sometimes use cwget, I just wanted to know if something was included
in L32, to avoid conflicts while opening the sound card.

Re: Decode CW ?

Ford Peterson <ford@...>

There is a decoder that comes with Writelog called RTTYRITE. It also does
CW very well. In fact, it does PSK/RTTY45/ASCII/CW all very well. Of
course, like many CW decoders, it doesn't like slow code. At 25WPM it works
flawlessly. It even works well in low signal conditions. It will not work
at all below 20WPM. I find that the decoder works with any software, but
the computer must have Writelog installed on it. Once writelog has been
installed, rttyrite can be executed on it's own. I have a shortcut on my
desktop to load it at any time.

I have used CWGET and several others. But nothing I've found works as well
as rttyrite. And you can switch between modes quickly. Along with the
decoder window you get a spectrum analyzer for tuning. On PSK you get
waterfall and some dial-like gismo for tuning. It works quite nicely.

A few years ago, I used to get teased about my decoder "crutch." I've seen
some teasing on this thread as well. My CW ability was stuck at around
18-20WPM and then somewhat choppy. After using my 'training wheels' for a
couple of years of copying fast code along with the decoder, I find that the
decoder now slows me down. I'm pretty solid now at up to 30WPM, and can
copy short bursts at 35-40. Let them tease! The 'hot-shot' CW wannabees
don't tease me any more!

Hamlogger cannot decode CW. You need independent software.
Look at something like CW GET or something like that.

I was not angry :) I just never found the need for a decoder, and think the
maker of this software also feels the same.

PS: Maybe you could use some 3rd-party software like CWGet which people have
mentioned here earlier.

Hi
I have a problem logging qso´s in the logger window. There is a delay
when I write a call sign in the log window. I write the call sign, and
have to wait until it show´s up in the window. When I after a wile I´m
finish to write and hit enter, there is a delay before it show up in
the log.
I use Logger 3.1.0, and the CPU is working about 25%, so it is not the
problem.
Any ideas?
