SATURDAY 1 OCTOBER (evening): MOZART FEST 2022 FINAL CONCERT given by the MARCEL SINFONIA and LONDON DOCKLANDS SINGERS at ST. PAUL'S CHURCH, COVENT GARDEN (50 free tickets, but booking with Andrew Campling required by 10pm on Thursday 29 September. Maximum of 2 tickets per application)
Composer, conductor and pianist Andrew Campling ( http://www.andrewcampling.com ) has very kindly offered my group of friends 50 complimentary tickets for a concert given by the Marcel Sinfonia ( http://www.andrewcampling.com/marcel.html ) and London Docklands Singers ( https://londondocklandssingers.org ). This takes place at 7.30pm on Saturday 1 October at St. Paul's, Covent Garden (The Actors' Church).
The Programme: Mozart's Piano Concerto No.13 in C major (K415); Andrew Campling's "A time to mourn, and a time to dance" (for piano and strings); and, after the interval, Mozart's Requiem D minor (K626). Andrew Campling will be the conductor, and the Japanese pianist Kazunari Shiraiso will be the soloist in the concerto and the Campling. There will be an interval of 20 minutes starting at about 8.20pm (after the Campling) during which refreshments will be available (see below), and the concert will end at around 9.40pm. You can see details of this concert at https://actorschurch.org/whatson/mozart-fest-2022-final-concert .
Reserving your Place(s): Andrew is kindly dealing with booking requests. The deadline for booking is 10pm on Thursday 29 September. To reserve your seat(s), e-mail him at a.campling@... [a "dot" campling "at" btopenworld "dot" com]. Please include "Sat 1 Oct: Comps Request/GB" in the subject heading. You may book for up to 2 people (yourself plus a guest), and you do not need to give the name of your guest, if any. Just state your full name and the total number of places you are requesting (either 1 or 2). Please use CAPITAL letters for your family name (for example: John SMITH - 2 places please) to help Andrew arrange the guest list in alphabetical order. Please do not book for a guest unless you are sure of that person's attendance. As long as you apply by the deadline, you should receive an e-mail within a day or so either confirming your booking or informing you if your application was unsuccessful. Please do not book unless you are sure to attend and arrive on time. However, if having booked you later find that you cannot attend, please contact Andrew as soon as possible to cancel, so that your seat(s) can be offered to someone on the waiting list. To do so, use the same e-mail address with the word "cancellation" included in the subject heading.
