THURSDAY 17 MARCH (evening): MILA FURSTOVA: ALL THE RIVERS THAT FLOW THROUGH ME: ART EXHIBITION OPENING at the CZECH CENTRE LONDON (free event, but booking through Eventbrite required)
The Exhibition: This is Mila Furstova's mid-career retrospective. Mila (born 1975) is a Czech painter and graphic designer who has lived in the UK for a long time. She is an award-winning internationally exhibited artist whose works are expressed in a distinctly female voice and intimately portray the human soul through the medium of etching. Transport and Venue Details: Vitrinka Gallery, Czech Centre London, 30 Kensington Palace Gardens, W8 4QY. The Gallery is adjacent to the Embassy of the Czech Republic, and is a short distance from Notting Hill Gate tube station (District, Circle and Central Lines, Zone 1). Timings: This Private View starts at 6pm, and although it is scheduled to last until 9pm, I would expect drinks to run out well before that, so I suggest it makes sense to arrive in good time. I plan to arrive shortly after it opens.
How to Book: Click on https://tinyurl.com/3npba77c (Eventbrite), and then click on Register. On the next page, select the number of places you need, and again click on Register. You will then need to complete your registration (name and e-mail address), and click on Register for the last time. You may book for up to 10 people, but PLEASE do not book for others unless you are sure of their attendance. Instead, if you want to invite others who are not yet sure, I suggest you ask them to book for themselves. You should receive an e-mail confirmation of your booking. There is no need to print your ticket as your name will be on the guest list.
