I bought a bench grinder from Harbor Freight. I bolted it to my bench, but the motor is a little loose in the base. It works fine, but makes a lot of noise, especially spinning up to speed when I turn it on, and winding down when I turn it off. I don't see a way to tighten it, but I wonder if putting some caulk or something between the motor and the base might reduce noise and vibration.
