I am fairly new to GATE, and I would like to know if anyone of you has already worked with complex table, meaning merged cells. I have a table looking like this :
I would like to annotate the cells under the 'ID' column with the value in 'Material' column, so I know that the pipe '3' is made of iron and the pipe '4' is made of copper. Do you have any idea or tips on how to do that?
I haven't been able to find a way to work this around with GATE, so I simply worked on my input file and reconstructed a table with simple cells. My table now looks like this :
Hello, Thank you for your answer, so you generate/create your tables/files ? I have thousands of pdfs with a lot of tables inside. I cannot modify them I need to extract information from these files and I'm trying to find a solution for this problem :(
