Help! I don't understand where I can put my rules/
Martina
Dear users, I need your help.
Here's my situation: I wrote a rule for extracting a fact, for example: membership.jape Then, I should put this file here: plugins/annie/resourses/ne Then, in file plugins/annie/resourses/ne/main.jape - I should write in the end of the file "facts/membership". But. after all operations I don't see my added facts in list of markups in the gate. Should I write or add something else anywhere in order to work with this fact (membership.jape) Maybe I dont understand how and where to add facts. Please, help me! P.s. sorry for my English |

The problem is that you can’t directly override the default ANNIE plugin resources this way, so you need to make a copy first and then modify that, and then load that as a new application (or replace the existing resources with your modified ones in the application). The best thing to do is to make a copy of the ANNIE plugin. Go to the plugin manager, select ANNIE and click “Extract Plugin Resources” at the bottom, and save it somewhere. Then add your file to this directory and modify the main.jape as before with the right location of your new file. Then replace the default ANNIE grammar in your application with the new main.jape from wherever you saved it. The same thing will apply if you need to make changes to the gazetteers etc. How to do this for gazetteers (the same applies for the JAPEs) is shown in the materials for the training course from 2018 - you need the slides from session 2 of Module 1 (see the slide in particular on “editing the gazetteer”). https://gate.ac.uk/wiki/TrainingCourseJune2018/ Diana On 17 Aug 2018, at 10:20, Marrtina <marrtina@...> wrote: |
