Firefox and FindMyPast
LDfh23
I've been using FH 7.8.0.2 for some time now and in general the software very much. I regularly use the Internet Link to FindMyPast and MyHeritage with no problems. In the last couple of days though when I select the FMP hints buttons I have a problem and get an error page. Ineed help on how to fix it please. I use Firefox as my webbrowser.
When I select the FMP hints buttons get: statusCode":400,"error":"Bad Request","message":"Invalid cookie header when I expand on this I get: Response Headers X-Firefox-Spdy: h2 cache-control: no-cache content-type: application/json; charset=utf-8 date: Fri, 29 Oct 2021 15:59:25 GMT server: istio-envoy vary: accept-encoding x-content-encoding-over-network: gzip x-envoy-upstream-service-time: 8 x-request-id: 07983ae9-dc26-418c-a4ae-e4517516512e Request Headers Accept: text/html,application/xhtml+xml,application/xml;q=0.9,image/avif,image/webp,*/*;q=0.8 Accept-Encoding: gzip, deflate, br Accept-Language: en-GB,en;q=0.5 Connection: keep-alive Host: www.findmypast.co.uk Sec-Fetch-Dest: document Sec-Fetch-Mode: navigate Sec-Fetch-Site: none Sec-Fetch-User: ?1 Upgrade-Insecure-Requests: 1 User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:93.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/93.0

That problem was discussed recently in the FHUG Forums: {'statusCode':400,'error':'Bad Request','message':'Invalid cookie header'
The suggestion was to clear cookies and that resolved the problem for some users.

Mark R.
I have a question about version 6.2. How do I ad documents to people? I don't want them to show on the desktop. Just be available for reference in the notes. Thanks so much.

Hi Mark First off, you shouldn't hijack another topic. It is best to start a new one with the correct subject. It avoids confusion. Best Wishes Neil.

You may not be aware but Findmypast has had problems over the last few days. You may want to retry in a day or so. Robert Campion
