I just discovered that when I generate a Chart of descendants I only see boxes and connecting lines – no text. 

I am using the defaults for the chart.  And I am running Windows 11 and the latest version of FH.

Please advise.

Can you explain how you know you are using defaults for the chart.

In the Diagram > Options > Text tab, what Text Scheme is being used?

Try choosing ‘Birth, Marr, Death’ or some other schemes. Does that make any difference?
