Can Autotext be used in the notes field of a citation? #fh7

In the case of citations, Autotext seems to be intended for use in the "Text from Source" pane of a citation.
Can it also be used in the Notes tab as well?

Background:
When I do a transcription and a translation, I often put the transcription in the "Text from Source" and the translation in the "Notes".
The reason for this is that the transcription is an objective record of the source content, but the translation is my subjective version.
I also like to tabulate some of the key source info to accompany a long transcription.
Being able to place some auto text in the Notes pane would be handy, but I don't see a way to do it.

Yes. Double click on the note field (to bring up the editor) and explore the dropdown menu from the cog icon.

Thank you.
I hadn't thought to look within the editor itself.
