Ancestral Sources
Nick Walker (Ancestral Sources)
For those of you who use Ancestral Sources, you may be interested to know that v.7.6 is now available for download. I posted a news item on to the Family Historian User Group website about this yesterday: https://www.fhug.org.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=21278. The latest minor update includes support for the newly released 1921 Scotland Census as well as various other features and improvements.
If you don't know about Ancestral Sources, then very briefly, it is software that I've been developing over the last 15 years or so, used by many hundreds of Family Historian users, to help them to enter their census, baptism, birth, marriage, death and burial information. It is a separate application to Family Historian although the team at Calico Pie have been extremely supportive of my work over the years and even include a link to Ancestral Sources on the Family Historian website. If you're interested, then I've recently created an Ancestral Sources video channel on You Tube and this includes an Ancestral Sources Introduction video. I'm planning to add more video tutorials over the coming months, time permitting!
