Program for ipad

Gill

Hello,
Which program do you use when you want to transport your info to family occasions etc.? I don't really want to take the laptop but the ipad would be fine.
Thanks,
Gill

Joan,

See FHUG Knowledge Base article ‘Family Historian on Mac, Linux, iOS, Android etc’:

https://fhug.org.uk/kb/kb-article/family-historian-on-mac-or-linux/

Under the ‘Apple iOS’ heading there are several suggestions.

Also, you could upload to an online Family Tree onto Ancestry, FindMyPast, and ZoomPast, which are all free.

Then you don’t even need to take a device with you as any browser on any device will work.

Use the Export Gedcom File plugin and chose the desired target product.

Thanks for the replies. I've downoladed Gedview and have my tree copied to it with the utmost ease. It seems quite simple but does what I want - an easily transportable tree to take around.
