Please use the Check Ticket Status option for now.
That was the reply to: Tom Holden posted
Logging into an account is different from checking a ticket status, even though "logging in" might be terminology common to both. You are using the osTicket system which describes the customer portal as:
Customer Portal Clicking on "Sign In" goes to the page to sign into one's account: Neither a ticket number nor Store account password works here. It must be the password set in my profile registered in the fh Support Centre's osTicket system. My question is, how do I register my profile? |

I agree that statement is confusing and interested in the response from CP.

I've done all those things, Mike. Now with a handful of tickets I thought having an account would allow me to review them all through the Support website. That's what I infer from the statement "we encourage our Clients to register for an account". Maybe it's a vestige of a feature that they wish not to provide. Perhaps I'll post another ticket to ask the same question of Support. ;-) |

You don’t need an account as such. Just visit http://www.calico-pie.com/osticket/index.php and read the advice then click Open a New Ticket. Or go to http://www.calico-pie.com/osticket/open.php and fill in your details. Just keep using the same Email address and all will be OK. You can even submit Email messages directly to support@... with the same effect. Their Email reply will include a link that gets you back to the support ticket. You can continue by Email or follow the link and post replies online. Also, you can use the Check Ticket Status option.
I realise it could be explained better, but it is what it is.

That's what it says at http://support.calico-pie.com/login.php. I can find no explanation in fh Help, fhug KB or Forum, nor here. My store account does not work on Support. I assume that having logged in, I should be able to see all my tickets without having to tell the system my email address and ticket number one at a time. |
