Cloning a source
ianpmitchell@...
There used to be a plugin called "Clone any record", but this has been disabled in V7 and the plugin has not been updated at the moment.
Is there another way to clone/duplicate a source record?

Ian Looking at the plugin store, it is only v5/6 compatible, so FH7 will disable it when you upgrade. The plugin store shows it was last updated in 2012 Best Wishes Neil.

As far as I can see the Clone and Record should work in V7, but I suspect the Author has not had time to check and update it.
You could test it out on the Sample Project before using it in your production data.

Yes there is another way to clone a Source record. Open the
Automatic Source Citations panel and select the source. Then use
the cog menu at the right where one of the options is Clone Source
Record.

Thanks Lorna, That is what I was looking for. It's well-hidden.

Clone Any Record seems to work OK i V7 with two caveats. Not unexpectedly (because it hasn't been updated):
