I don't recommend creating a PDF as it means you view the pages with in Family Historian. What I would do is to create a single source for this service record and then add all the pages to the source, creating a subfolder for the person in your media folder so for example I have
media/military/John Smith
and all John Smiths media for his military service is in that folder.
You can then attach that source to all relevant facts so you can easily open the media when needed. The media window makes it quick and easy to view all media, attached either to a fact or to the source of a fact as well as any media directly attached to an individual or their facts.

Hi Kristeen, The simplest way is to link all 17 images to the Source record Media tab. Regards, Mike Tate

Blimey, I don’t ask for help in years and then twice in a couple of days.
I have saved from Ancestry 17 images for an individuals war record. What is the best way to amalgamate these and attach to his attestment fact entry as a single entry or can this not be done?

An alternative is to use IrfanView https://www.irfanview.com to create a multipage TIFF file. Or an online converter such as Aspose https://products.aspose.app/pdf/merger/jpg

Remember that the contents of PDF files aren’t displayed in reports etc. where images are displayed. https://www.fhug.org.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=14396&p=73165#p73165 might give you some more ideas.

I use https://www.jpgpdf.net to combine multiple jpg files to a single pdf file. There are alternatives such as https://jpg2pdf.com that do this online without the need to download/install. |
