I suggest that you check Tools > Preferences > Internet Data Matches  and make sure in the little window that the word "Enabled" appears beneath "Automatic Matching" .  It's worth reading the "Help" link in that window if it doesn't work because FH must have your FindMyPast login name and password to function.  The facility is only available if your a subscriber and FMP wins hands down against MyHeritage if you don't hold either subscription.
