I'd beg to differ. Cologne is the English name for, the translation of, Köln. As such it has a perfectly legitimate existence off of the map - people in England trading with Köln wouldn't refer to it

The only time that I concoct a death date is when I have indirect evidence for it, such as a burial, when I'll estimate a death date based on the burial date minus - waves hand and thinks of a number.
