Re: Changing Lap-top
Hi Mike
Good question. I don't customise FH much apart from adding standard events and these appear to migrate OK.

Have a look at Family Historian Copy and Migration Guide – Family Historian User Group (fhug.org.uk) which should cover everything – ask again if you have new questions once you’re reviewed

Changing Lap-top
Hello,
I need some advice about moving my Family Historian system to a new lap-top. Unfortunately the old one is dying, and will soon be no more.
Obviously I have backed up my 2 projects onto a memory

Hi James,
Unless you really want to delete it, there isn't really a need, you just need to move it to the top of the preferred images.
So, add your new image, link to face if necessary in the 'Media'

Transitioning
Hello all
We have a family member who is transitioning from male to female.
Has anyone else tackled this in FH?
I'm wondering how to do this.
Many thanks for suggestions.
Best Wishes

Bill,
Thank you for that comprehensive list.
My prime objective was to include those that have searchable datasets online in Ancestry, FindMyPast, etc.
I’m not sure there is much benefit in

Mike,
I was just wondering which state censuses you would be adding. Here is a listing of all of them that were done.
