You are correct that GEDCOM 7 allows Citations on Notes as with GEDCOM 5.5.

While I used that feature when I was using Reunion, I now prefer to use separate notes and I have the appropriate

What is your reason for not using Rich Text?
When exported in GEDCOM to other products the Rich Text features will appear as magic textual

The FH V7 Rich Text Note editor allows any sentence to have its own specific citation.
It is not a GEDCOM feature but a new FH Rich Text feature that puts special codes in the Note field for

Yes indeed, Mike Tate wrote a plugin for that, mostly used if you migrate to a new PC/laptop, but it backs up all your customisations.

When I click on the Fact tab, I see ALL the facts. I clicked on “add facts” and selected residences because this particular ancestor had many residences in Manhattan.

I created each note by clicking on “add note”.
I opened All tab. There are no [+] buttons (in the left record column) to expand the NOTE entries. I can see only the first line of each

Anyway, open the All tab and by clicking the [+] buttons you can expand the entries to reveal all subsidiary fields.

Additional information.
Apparently, this error is occurring on ALL my records when I click on NOTES TAB: Only the FIRST NOTE and all the additional FACTS regarding residences.

Yes, I clicked on the yellow tab NOTES.
It displays only my first NOTE and FACTS (that I added for “residences”). I rebooted my computer as well.

Have you looked at the Notes tab in the property box? This should show all the notes for that individual and you should be able to edit them there.
