The only time that I concoct a death date is when I have indirect evidence for it, such as a burial, when I'll estimate a death date based on the burial date minus - waves hand and thinks of a number.

No Death Event
Good Evening,
I have a few hundred individuals in my file with no death recorded, how do other people handle this?
If you do not have a date of death, do you leave it blank or input an estimated death

I would agree with Mike - the crucial bits are the sourcing and citations for the bits that go together to make up the fact that X is the GG-uncle (or whatever) of Y, not the end result.

Sourcing info from my research
I have a couple of instances that I’m not sure how to provide citations.
1. If I have a complete tree in FH well documented but in writing a report I want to say George, Fred’s Gr Gr Uncle.

I’m not talking about the FH toolbar that you have described but the MyHeritage toolbar on the dark gey line below.
You may have to expand the FH Web Search Window by closing the docked Property

Hi Stuart,
I guess you may be based in Alsace?
MyHeritage is probably setting the language based on your location.
In the top right corner, there is an option to set the language.

Linda,
Forgot to include this: GedSite does support FH functions. However, it does not support all of them, just the more common ones. You can read about GedSite's support for FH data references
