If you bother to scroll down below the search screen there is lots of useful information (as with any FMP search screen) and explains exactly what you get if the purchase with the transcription

Certainly was for payment for 1939 and for 1911 (I wrote the book on it for the SoG)

Hello John. I was with 1837 online originally, but do not recall paying for anything extra. Maybe I just missed it!!!

I have been with FMP since it started life as 1837online!
Certainly when the 1901, 1911 and 1939 all came out they were was a charge for the first few months on each

I have been with Find my Past for about 19 years and never had to pay extra for anything until now.
My tree is just about finished but I may hang on another year to see if the 1921 does get to be

There are two pages per image one with the schedule and clicking the right arrow brings up the instructions form which includes the district, name of the person filling in the form plus the address,

When viewing the scan, there is a button labelled 'Transcripts', but that just takes you to the page to pay for the transcript.

You can get a small discount on each record if you have an FMP Pro subscription. So if you have a large number of records you need to obtain. The upgrade to Pro might pay for itself.

You're not being stupid - I've not looked yet, but someone said that this problem exists. However, from the image, there is supposed to be a button that takes you to associated stuff - I'm not sure

No way round it unless you can get to Kew or Manchester or National library of Wales where its free to view. Or wait for a year or so when it will be incorporated in sub (which you don't need now)or

As Neil says the costs have been well publicised. The only way I can think of to save money is to club together with another relative so that you don’t both pay to look at the same record. Also

You had to pay for access to both the 1911 census and the 1939 register when they both first come out
Past history would suggest about 5/6 months before it becomes a part of the subscription - with a

Could that include a Hinckley club. ? I was born and brought up in Hinckley and remember the old gas works being converted to a national centre when natural gas came in. Also an ex Leicester Poly
