Changing Residence fact to Census
Up to now, I've been using the "Residence" fact whenever I've located someone in a census record. I would like to begin using the "Census" fact instead but am hesitant about changing in mid-stream

OK, so do you still have multiple copies of the same file? If so, you must have given them all slightly different names because you can't have two or more files with the same name in the

You need to be clear about the distinction between a media file and a media record. A media file will be (most often, but not exclusively) an image file in .JPG format,

Sorry to have created confusion in the Ether, multiple images of the same page is what I have.
I have another Question though. I would like to change some image file titles, I realise I cannot do that

Thanks for your reply. It really is frustrating. I think FH is great but, in my opinion, when you get to something basic like this it does let its self down.

But Ray does not say he has multi-page documents, but that he has multiple copies of files, which I took to mean duplicates of the same image.

Mike, I was presuming Ray had several images (pages if you like) of a document that linked to a single fact. Without converting them into a single multipage image they would only be viewed one at a

Have you had to reinstall Windows or move to a new PC and reinstall FH?
If you did not keep backups of your customised Diagrams and Icons then they will
