It's very easy. Open the property box for the individual and add the first spouse in the spouse box. A tab appears with their give name on it and next to this you will see a little "+" tab appear.

As updating Fh
I have been away from the tree for a while and upgraded AS TO VERSION 7. Enter details of the census in AS but after saving it doesn’t appear on FH.
I thought I’d selected method 2 and tried

Select the standard query called 'Descendants' then click the cog icon in the query toolbar and choose 'Save as Custom Query'. You can now edit this custom query. On the Rows tab click 'Inc

Personally I would simply merge them both. Who knows some of the names may be connected to both trees. There is nothing to lose by doing so

I agree. Deaths are recorded by someone who may not too closely related and, ladies in particular, might have taken a year or two off their age at marriage and subsequent ly. A relative of mine had

Overnight, I have realised that you could write a Fact type of Query with a Flags Preferred column and filter on that Flag.
Then in the Results Set you can select all the Y entries in that column and
