Re: lost link
I have successfully restored the projects to the project window in both this PC and One drive as per your instructions.
And I have altered the position of the back up to where it was originally.

Thank you for that information which is much clearer.
Please try these two experiments to see if the FH File > Project Window lists your Projects and let me know how you get on.

Re: lost link
Michael, I am sorry you having problems.
If unsure about the FH folder structure it might have been best to stop and ask about the first problem rather than try and fix it which may have made matters

Thanks for raising this. I was having the same problem and couldn't for life of me figure how to solve it!

Re: Internet data matches - FMP login box inactive
For your information, FH v7.0 has replaced the internal IE11 browser with the Edge browser.
So you could return to the internal FH Web Search Window.

Re: Internet data matches - FMP login box inactive
Thanks again.
I had been gaily ignored the banner because I knew I was running FMP under Edge. What I hadn't done was swap the "Location to display matches" option to External Web Browser! Doh!

Re: Internet data matches - FMP login box inactive
FMP has been warning for some time that they were going to cease support for IE11, so I suspect they ceased it between then and now.

And bingo it seems to work (after restarting FH). Thank you!
I'm unclear however why that has become a problem in the last day or so, because it was certainly working last week!

Are you using the internal web-browser within FH6? If so, that is IE 11 and no longer works with FMP or many other sites, and you will have to modify your preferences to switch to using an external

Thanks for all the instructions. I've managed to modify everything I needed in the plugin. Works like a charm!

Re: Fact Type corrections
Again, the Search and Replace plugin only operates on database items, not customization details such as Fact Set definitions.
The only case where Sentence templates could be affected by that

Hi John,
Please confirm you are using FH v7.0.8 and Change Any Fact Tag plugin v3.4.
I think you misunderstand the purpose of the Change Any Fact Tag plugin.
It is intended to change the GEDCOM

Very occupied for the next few weeks so the old report will have to wait.
It seems that I have a lot to learn about the latest FH version and perhaps what I want is already there. Thanks for

I am learning about Language Packs as fast as you.
Changing the Date Format works in the default English version of Text Schemes but has no effect (except for Year) when a different Output

Re: Translating charts
Thanks for the instructions. Worked great. I've managed to use the same analogy for marriage and death.
I still have issues with the date format. For some reason the format remains unchanged
