GEDCOM Duplication
I wish to align my FH project with a MyHeritage project that is rather larger. Please tell me, if I seek to transfer a GEDCOM file, how does FH resolve large numbers of duplications?

Thanks, Mike. Although my uploads to Ancestry etc are pretty basic and purely to enable any DNA matches to get some idea of who's who, I think I'll get the plug-in and be on the safe side.

Re: Exporting gedcom file
Hi Brian,
Yes, if your trees are uncomplicated and you only want to use Ancestry DNA then File > Import/Export > Export > GEDCOM File will often be OK.
As you say, you must remember to choose UTF-8
