I have recently downloaded the evaluation program as it says that I can print reports etc from the program, however when I try to print I either only get the boxes or sometimes the boxes with what

I assume you mean you want to change the Title of the Source. Any changes you make to one Source will not affect any others. However if you have cited that source more than once all the

Paddy, what you have described make no sense to me. The statistics will always be perfect.
Whether you prefer to work in the Focus Window or the Records Window makes no difference to the File

Knowing the quantities can help assess performance.
Large numbers of records on a low power PC can impact run time, especially Media Records where images must be processed, particularly in Diagrams

Can I ask please what is the benefit of knowing how many? It's far more important to me to know that I've got a particular one. The overall numbers seem irrelevant.

In the Records Window open the Media tab and that should list those 207 Media records.
Some may not be linked to a File and some may link to the same File.
Where are you counting those 19 Media

It’s counting Media Records within the Gedcom, not media files.

Because it's reporting the number of Media RECORDS, not physical files. You may well have multiple RECORDS pointing to the same physical file.

I am not particularly concerned with photos being copied. Those that do copy will need to decide if it was really a member of their family. If it was not then their tree is wrong and it is

Yes, as long as they are attached to the right people! Sometimes the photos are copied and attached to the wrong people. I've seen it happen.
