         Thanks for the reply. Here is attachment of the whole window. I do not see any info regarding the GEDCOM filename. I set my project to default as you suggested and the green check mark shows up but I'm still getting the same errors when I start the program. Yes my previous version was 6.2.7. As I am a novice user I had no information regarding the settings plugin you mentioned....Bob
