Eric, I strongly suggest you join the FHUG where there is much more advice freely available.
You mention the Address field, but it is only the Place field that drives geocoding and nothing else.
Also, you can override the automatic geocoding by using manual drag.
The way to manage Place and Address details globally is via the Tools > Work with Data dialogues.
There are also some Plugins that might help.
I suggest you take some time out and study the documentation and tutorials to learn about more of the FH features.

Hi. My Geocoding has been disabled due to a lot of wrong information, or wrong address format, in the address field. I have corrected a lot of it but it seems there is a lot more to do.
