Full publication details of the book ("Rise of the Self-Replicators: Early Visions of Machines that Reproduce and Evolve") will appear here when available. As of July 2019 we have completed a significant revision of the manuscript on the basis of reviewer feedback and new material discovered since writing the first draft. We are now discussing publications with academic presses, and will post further updates here as and when we have them. (NB the first version of the book was submitted under the working title "The Spectre of Self-Reproducing Machines: An Early History of Evolving Robots".)
