Best way would to solve this would be to reporting it to ebook-speaker package maintainer.

I think that Jos Lemmens jos@... Is also the creator of espeak http://www.jlemmens.nl/ Now I understand why ebook-speaker is linked to espeak...

You probably won't get an answer from Jonathan Duddington. He hasn't been online for many years.

I also have mbrola voices for Hebrew and Arabic. How do I use them with espeak?

I've seen that. It says we have support for Arabic, but Hebrew :(

espeak-ng -var1 and espeak-ng -var2 work, but espeak-ng -vhb1 and espeak-ng -vhb2 do not.

How do you make Hebrew voice work then?
