Help with 006623950?

peter

Hi all,

The following log could be 006623950 Port Sudan on 8 Mhz ? The ship log check sum ok but an error on the 006623950 log. The ship 'Bulk Holland'(SNG) was showing Port Sudan as destination on Marine Traffic. Have already logged Port Sudan on 12 Mhz a couple of times recently with OK copy so it seems active.
Any possible help from group to confirm or not?

All the evidence points to a good copy - I have also noticed that you get really good DX from that direction...so I'm not surprised

Found this in my 2013 edition of List IV:-

It's always nice to get a QSL.....Arabic is the language apparently...

Jay,

I'm always  wary of accepting a log without the 'Check Sum OK' message but I do agree all the evidence points to a good copy. I have sent off a report to that QRA  you mentioned....so we'll see.

Thanks and best regards

Peter
