Hi All

Massive signal on De Leidsche Kiwi at 2241.5 to 2244.5 - 3KHz wide, looks like harmonics above and below (one of which 2187.5)

I see this constant signal too in Netherlands Apeldoorn strength S9. This causes mucht errors in the logs.

Hello All,
For several hours, I have been seeing/hearing a constant carrier on 2187.5
It is quite strong, here in IO75, and many signals are not being decoded
because of it. We have seen this sort of interference before, presumably
caused by a 'stuck' transmitter somewhere. I wonder how far it is
detectable. Does anyone else see it?

Best Wishes

Hi All

Massive signal on De Leidsche Kiwi at 2241.5 to 2244.5 - 3KHz wide, looks like harmonics above and below (one of which 2187.5)

It was being a right pain in the anodes here last night. I've got a
screen grab of the last time this happened and it was on the Saturday
when we 'flogged the clocks' last year. Same as yesterday. Coincidence
or something else?. Are we being got at? !

I have the notch filter in working so i decode most of the traffic
That carrier came up yesterday evenening but i have no idea where it comes from.

Have a nice sunday

Good morning.

Has someone tried to TDoA it via the Kiwi-SDR-network at http://sdr.hu?

I'm on vacation so I'm only only with my smartphone. Otherwise I'd try some attempts.

Kind regards.

Well, that came as a surprise. Thanks to Alan for stepping in.
Of course, my plans to use the computer and SDR presently dedicated to DSC
for something else have had to be shelved ;( Still, it is good to see the
database continue, and to see a glimmer of enthusiasm return to John's
writings.

And "YES" to the domain name.

Thanks again, Alan.

Subject: [dsc-list] YaDDNet Migration!

Hello all,

After my recent announcement that I intended to cease running the
YaDDNet online DSC database I was approached off-list by Alan Spindel
ex Chief Engineer of the Mobile Radio/WLO coast station.

He offered to provide a cloud server in their data centre to host
YaDDNet so that it may continue to operate for the benefit of the
community.

I couldn't let the offer pass, and yesterday Alan built the virtual
server and last night I copied over all my code and a snapshot of the
the SQL database to the new host.

Great stuff

Rich

After 24 hours of testing, and feeding a mirror of the data from
"original" YaDDNet I see many uploaders have successfully changed to
sending data directly to the new server.

This morning I've turned off the "mirror" from "original" YaDDNet.

This means "new" YaDDNet will only have data from those uploaders that
have made the necessary change in YaDD or DSCDecoder to use:

64.235.39.127

as the Remote Log address.

Hopefully over the next day or so everybody will migrate across and I
can turn off the old YaDDNet server. I've already "hidden" the webpage
views of old YaDDNEt (although it's still there...somewhere) and
replaced it with an explanatory page:

http://gm4slv.plus.com:8000/index.php

Regards,

John
