Shooting in the blind at 2189.5 kHz

Mats A

Hi all,

I have had a YaDD instance listening at 2189.5 for some time now, and the results are quite fascinating.

- Someone must be teaching that 2189.5 kHz is a DSC channel for routine calls, and used as such.
- Some ships do actually use it, but of course do not get any reply from ships or shore, as it's not reality.

There is always something new to discover!

Best regards
