Cuba reports 316 new cases of COVID-19 and one deceased

At the close of this Thursday, November 18, 4,806 patients were admitted, 3,226 suspects, 195 under surveillance and 1,385 confirmed active.

For COVID-19, a total of 19,424 samples were taken for surveillance on the day, resulting in 316 positive . The country accumulates 10,889,358 samples carried out and 960,185 positive.

Of the total number of cases (316):

  • 314 were contacts of confirmed cases
  • 1 with source of infection abroad
  • 1 no specified source of infection
  • they were female 159 and male 157
  • 11.4% (36) were asymptomatic, accumulating a total of 132,225 that represents 13.8% of those confirmed to date
