Pastors for Peace members maintain solidarity agenda in Cuba

Havana, Nov 17 (Prensa Latina) The 31st Pastors for Peace Caravan on Wednesday continues a broad exchange agenda in Cuba in solidarity with the Caribbean country and against the aggressive policy by the United States.

According to the program, the caravan members will meet this Wednesday with representatives of the National Association of Cuban Writers and Artists and the National Center for Sex Education, as part of their activities with representatives of the civil society in the Caribbean nation.

They will also visit the Fidel Castro Study Center, dedicated to the research and preservation of the thought of the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution.

On Tuesday, the “caravanistas” visited the Denunciation Memorial in Havana, where they learned historical data about Washington’s aggressiveness and rejected the interference of that power in the internal affairs of the island.

The Pastors for Peace Caravan arrived in Havana’s Jose Marti International Airport on Monday evening, coming from Miami.

Upon her arrival, Gail Walker, executive director of that group, said that her companions are especially interested in learning about Cuba’s achievements in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic, amid the tightening of the economic, commercial and financial blockade and other aggressions by the US Government.
