While I have not read Jacob's book, and my opinion is based entirely upon the NBC (somewhat stinky) reporter's opinion of her book, what I learned of the book is that there are so many things wrong with Jacob's story that it is difficult to enumerate them all.  I'm an engineer, but I also KNOW that ET are interacting with Humans in the Human consciousness-space, and have been doing so for a seemingly, very long expanse of time.  The Roswell event, also exhibited event precursors, that apparently were not investigated by Jacobs, as would be counter to her schema. One need reconcile **ALL** of the information, not just those elements that support one's theme.

A lot people think that I am a skeptic, but its not true. I do expect any information to be based in part on science rather than outright BS as evidence of a 'truth' or the manipulation of truths to form an alternate 'truth', a matter which one often finds in the ETology zoo.

Take for instance the usage of children, cobbled up to appear to be alien-like, and then, was it their plan to kill them in a hoaxed crash? How did the Germans teach the kids to behave as aliens?  It is ludicrous.

And then, two years after the war, supposedly the craft was a remote controlled vehicle, which emerged from a larger 'mother-ship'. Remote control technology was very primitive in those days, relay ON / relay OFF, type primitive, nothing like the proportional radio-control technology afforded today with remote telemetried situational awareness and video squirting out of cell-phones.  In 1992 I participated in the engineering of a remote control of a single engine, full-scale airplane, that was designed by Dick Rutan. The company for which I was an engineering contractor, was never able to cause the airplane to be successfully remotely controlled. Millions of Dollars were expended, and still It crashed.  This was of course before Trimble created the first small all digital GPS receiver, and was before the industrial invention of miniature solid-state multi-axis motion sensors, such as digital accellerometers and non-rotating gyroscopes, etc. It is these things that enable remotely piloted craft to be practically functional today all of which were non-existent in 1947. These technologies did not exist, and people such as Jacob are unaware of the difficulty, to such an extreme, that no country had functional remote-controlled air-vehicals. Including Germany. Else their buzz-bombs would have been remotely controlled instead of launching the finned craft in some general direction and when the fuel tank emptied, it drops out of the sky, type 'guidance'.  The German V2 rocket, a much more sophisticated machine was also a ballistic 'guided' rocket. It wasn't until Bell Labs was tasked with integrating their electronics know-how with the US captured German (Dr Werher von Braun's) V2, that the US developed ICBM guided missiles, but that was in 1957, not 1947.  For the Germans to have had a functional remote-control system, it would have necessarily been developed years before, 1947 which is when Jacobs reported that it was already functional. If Germany had that technology, why did they not use it when they were deploying V2 rockets to bomb England in 1946? Development and functional deployment takes time.  The numbers don't add up.

 And unlike the purported EG&G engineers who supposedly broke their security oaths, I can't say much, even though it was 30yrs ago, for it was a classified work.

The whole story isn't even good BS, it is just plain BS.
